PURPOSE: To eliminate such sample formation process as cutting parts and polishing the surface, etc., and improve measuring accuracy and index by rotating a displacement sensor attached on the rotor of a survo-actuator around a long sized member. ;CONSTITUTION: In an axis hole 4 of a survo-actuator 2, a long sized member 1 is inserted and its both ends are supported with support brackets 9, 9. Then, the actuator 2 are moved together with a support plate by an XY table 5 so that the center of the member 1 and the center of the axis hole 4 coinside. The table 5 is moved in this state with a Z-axis slide device 7 to the member 1 axis direction so that the displacement sensor 6 attached on a rotor 3 of the actuator 2 and the position of member 1 measurement surface coinside. The displacement sensor 6 is rotated in this state together with the rotor 3 around the member 1 and the cross section state of the member 1 is measured on line in non-touch state.
