AGROBACTERIUM-RHIZOGENES MAFF03-1724 MUTANT STRAIN AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a mutant bacterium mutated to a streptomycin medicine- resistant one by inoculating a cultured bacterium of Agrobacterium.rhizogenes MAFF03-1724 into a culture medium containing streptomycin added thereto and collecting the produced colony. ;CONSTITUTION: An Agrobacterium.rhizogenes MAFF03-1724 strain is inoculated into a liquid culture medium and cultured. The cultured strain is then inoculated into a culture medium containing streptomycin added thereto and the produced colony is collected to afford the Agrobacterium.rhizogenes MAFF03-1724 mutant strain having the resistance to the streptomycin medicine.
