PURPOSE: To provide the automatic welding machine capable of performing butt welding of pipes with the different size, butt welding and fillet welding of metallic plates and further, performing even fillet welding of pipe ends by using the jig. ;CONSTITUTION: A couple of wire supply unit 3, a driving unit 4 provided with a sprocket connected to a driving motor and a control unit 5 to support a torch 39 whose direction can be changed for butt welding and for fillet welding are connected in series bendably by exchangeable links 6 and 7, the sprocket is fitted on a ring rail 2 fixed in accordance with the size of a pipe 1 so as to engage with a chain fitted on the rail, connected by an exchangeable connector 8 and made in an endless shape. when fillet welding of the pipes is executed, the ring rail is fitted on the jig inserted into the pipe end and the welding machine is fitted an this.
