DEVICE FOR CUTTING SUCCESSIVELY FED MOLDING WEB INTO SANDWICH LIKE ELEMENT

PURPOSE: To provide a cutting apparatus which is simply formed, has a smaller fully occupying space as much as possible, and always achieves accurate cutting. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is formed by a transport device for a forming web 2, a frame-like member 10 capable of moving with the device and again returning to the former position, and a band saw set 5 capable of moving in the lateral direction to the forming web transport direction. Respective turning devices 7 are provided four in total with the entering portion and retire portion of both turning wheels 9, thereby turning the cutting plane in a 90-degree at the entering and retire portions of the turning wheels 9. After each saw tooth cutting, the whole of the band saw set 5 is turned in a 180-degree arc on its vertical axis, whereby the saw tooth of the longitudinal moving portion of the saw tooth band 6 is orientated to one direction, that is, the cutting direction so that it cuts and progresses in the forming web.
