PURPOSE: To hold a cup by the part which a hand, mouth, etc., scarcely come into contact with at the time of usually handling the cup, and also, to hold it by the part of the highest rigidity of the cup. ;CONSTITUTION: A cup receiving member 26 supports a cup bottom part 25 so that a cup 21 does not come into contact with a bottom peripheral edge part 29, and as for a cup holding member 28, three pieces are provided vertically at an interval of 120 degrees on a base 27, and in each tip, a projection for abutting on the cup receiving member 26, and a reverse tapered abutting piece 31 overhanging on an inside peripheral wall 23 of a bottom peripheral edge part 24 and abutting thereon are provided. Also, each cup holding member 28 is always energized in advance so as to approach the center each other. Moreover, in the middle part of the cup holding member 28, a tapered part 32 for forming a part of a cone is formed. By a cup holding member driving means 29, the cup holding member 28 is opened and closed without sliding with the cup receiving member 26, and holds the bottom peripheral part 24 of the cup 21 by its overhang.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
