PRODUCTION OF LANTHANUM CHROMITE FILM AND LANTHANUM CHROMITE COATING

PURPOSE:To prevent the precipitation of lanthanum oxide and calcium oxide into a lanthanum chromite film and to produce the lanthanum chromite film of a single phase high in electric conductivity. CONSTITUTION:N:100 pts.wt lanthanum chromite powders in which the compositional ratio of the A site to the B site is present in the range of (1 to 1): (1 to 0.9) are mixed with 1 to 15 pts.wt. chromium oxide powder to obtain powder for thermal spraying. These powders for thermal spraying are thermally sprayed on a substrate to form sprayed film, and the sprayed film is subjected to heat treatment to obtain lanthanum chromite film. Or, 100 pts.wt. powders for synthesizing to form lanthanum chromite contg. at least chromium oxide and lanthanum oxide and in which the compositional ratio of the A site to the B site after heat treatment is present in the range of (1 to 1): (1 to 0.9), are added with 1 to 15 pts.wt. chromium oxide powder to obtain mixed powder. These mixed powders are heated and granulated to synthesize powders for thermal spraying, which are thermally sprayed on a substrate to form sprayed coating, and the sprayed coating is subjected to heat treatment to obtain the lanthanum chromite film.
