AUTOMATIC CLEANING TYPE OUTER MIRROR FOR VEHICLE USE

PURPOSE: To efficiently self-cleaning an outside mirror by positioning a wiper blade perpendicular to the edge of a mirror casing having at least one wiper nozzle and coupling it to a support movably guided behind the mirror surface. CONSTITUTION: A wiper blade 3 is placed substantially perpendicular to the edge on which a spray nozzle 20 is mounted and its direction of motion is accordingly parallel to the edge. As a consequence, since the cleaning liquid for the wiper blade 3 is distributed over the all width of a mirror 2 in such a way that it flows downward at the edges and is pushed away toward both sides in this way, the wiper blade 3 can clean the surface of the mirror 2 very efficiently. The spray nozzle 20 is preferably positioned on the upper edge of a mirror casing 1 in such a way that it supports the wiper blade 3 perpendicularly.
