PURPOSE: To provide a transistor TR amplifier circuit which can perform the modulation compensation for various modulation distortions due to an input signal regardless of the connection form of a TR circuit. ;CONSTITUTION: A compensation signal generation means consists of a TR Q3 which produces an output signal against an input signal and has a prescribed transmission function having a nonlinear error, a compensation TR Q5 which is connected to the TR Q3, and a voltage control current sources S1 which produces a compensation signal and supplies it to the TR Q5 as a prescribed function of the input signal so as to make the TR Q5 generate a nonlinear error that has the substantially same value as that of the TR Q3 with the opposite polarity and also eliminates the nonlinear error. In such a constitution, a substantially linear transmission function is given to a TR circuit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
