The liquefied natural gas is stored in a tank 55 on a transportation ship 54 by a loading arm 53 after it is once stored in a tank 52. Then, after the liquefied natural gas is moved to a receiving terminal 56 on the earth by the transportation ship 54, it is further cooled utilizing the cold of liquefied natural gas stored in a liquid air tank 100 in a liquid air generating facility 89 to store it in the tank 57 at atmospheric pressure.
