METHOD OF UNDERLAYING TIMBER BATTENS AND BALKS

Described is a method of underlaying by the creation of an underlay surface, mainly during machine production. The underlay material is applied to the battens and frames in several layers - first of all a base underlay and then at least one covering layer of the underlay material the filling of which is ground to a maximum grain size of 10 micrometers and the speed of application is a maximum of 2.9 . 10 -5kg.s-1 with a maximum linear movement of the batten of 1.0 m.s-1. There is also a description of the base underlay material consisting of 45 to 53 % by weight of calcimine material the filler of which contains 0.5 to 65 % by weight of waste material selected from the group of rock gypsum or fluor spar from glass production or black manganese from pharmaceutical production or slate dust, ground to a grain size of less than 30 micrometers. There is also a description of the cover underlay material consisting of 45 to 53 % by weight of calcimine material the filler of which is calcite rock or barytic concentrate.IMAGE
