The present invention relates to a photosensitive (light- sensitive) colour composition which allows a colour filter to be obtained having a high sensitivity in conjunction with high resistance to chemicals and also good efficiency, via a shorter production procedure, since it is not necessary to form a layer to exclude oxygen. Moreover, a colour filter is obtained which is formed by using a photosensitive colour composition and a method for producing it. A photosensitive colour composition of this type according to the invention contains a resin in which the pigment is dispersed, a pigment, a dispersant, a photopolymerization initiator and a solvent, a triazine compound being present as the photopolymerization initiator. As well as the triazine compound, an imidazole compound can also be present as a photopolymerization initiator.
