The proposal is for an anchor for anchoring by means of a compound in a drilling (14) in a concrete component or the like, said anchor having a threaded bolt (1) with a waisted section (2) and a spreading cone (4) merging into a head section (6) and forming an engagement shoulder (5). Over the waisted section (2) and the spreading cone (4) is drawn an anchor sleeve (3) having several longitudinal grooves (10) in its outer surface. The longitudinal grooves (10) and the elasticity of the plastic anchor sleeve (3) provide facilities for compensating for the enlargement of the drilling on crack formation which facilitates the use of the anchor in the tension region.
