First of all, a garment (49) is industrially prefabricated according to a predetermined sequence specific to each article with all its components (1-15), such as premanufactured, intermediate and finished cuts, if necessary provided with reinforcements closing elements and accessories. The components (1-15) are then gathered into packaged sets of cuts of appropriate forms, materials and colours. The consumer can then take the components out of the package and assemble them into a garment (49) on the basis of instructions that form an integral part of the package.
