A tractor, particularly a garden tractor, has a safety arch (3) which can be lowered and comprises a U-shaped tubular element whose arms (4) are connected to two opposite side regions (5) of the structure of the tractor for pivoting about a transverse axis (10) between an erect position and a lowered position.
