This invention relates to an anti-sand and anti-scale filter capable of preventing or reducing the occurrence of limescale downstream from the point where it is fitted, characterized in that it comprises a filter cartridge which has an axial cavity which can be housed in an outer shell in cooperation with which it forms an intermediate layer. The aforesaid cavity communicates with a first and a second outlet, which are angularly offset and which can be used selectively. The intermediate layer is in communication with a first and a second inlet opening, which are angularly offset and which can be used selectively. A magnetic body which interacts with the fluid, either within or outside the filter cartridge, is provided in the cavity.
