The two-phase chopper circuit with balanced flux inductor consists of two chopper circuits A and B, connected in parallel to the input E and to the output U, an inductor LA - LB and a circuit capable of supplying the control pulses to the switches SA and SB in an alternating way. It is also characterized in that the magnetic coupling between the two coils LA and LB of the inductor produces a magnetic flux which is discordant inside the core and concordant in the air gap between the two coils, so that the effective value of inductance presented in the circuit is provided by the non-coupled part of the flux (dispersed flux) between the coils, while the coupling between the coils reduces the alternating component of the current.
