The method envisages the cutting of a coiled material 1 to obtain a strip 3 on which longitudinal beads 15a,b and transverse beads 16a,b,c,d are traced, with further beads 35a,b and 45a,b traced at the ends of the strip, to obtain a preform 13 from which, by means of successive folding and hot welding stages, the container 4 is made, provided with a plug 11 and a seat 30 on its bottom. Various forms of the container 4, 14, 24, 34, 44, 54 made are envisaged, and are obtained by varying the reciprocal distance between some of the beads traced on the preforms 13, 23, 33, 43 and 53. Depending on the variants of the method, containers 14,24 are obtained, provided with a hole 10 closed with a perforatable diaphragm 6, or provided with a spout 40. The other variants make it possible to obtain containers 34 the bottoms of which are closed by means of two spouts 42a,b folded upwards, or containers 44, 54 provided with a window 5, 55 on one or more of the side walls 8c,d,e.
