The object of the present invention is a new means which, although made up of elements that are known and used for other embodiments and for other purposes, is suitable for reducing or even eliminating the presence of moisture in silos, where in particular sodium chloride (NaCl), used principally for controlling and rectifying the situations which arise along roads and motorways during the winter months, and when snow falls on them or a layer of ice forms on them, is stored and kept. Said means, made up of a mattress of geotextile material, is used for the internal covering or lining of the silos, especially those made of metal, built to contain said chlorides, which, as is well-known, are highly hygroscopic and easily packable products and can therefore create great difficulties when the flow thereof is hindered by deposits and bridges which form in the interior and on the internal walls of said silos.
