As explained in the specification, the discovery consists in arranging, adjacent, figure 1, and/or connected, figure 2, to the main conductors of long distance alternating current lines, suitable auxiliary conductors, arranged to permit the flow of induced currents able to cancel out the effect due to the load currents flowing in the main conductors of the line itself, these reduce considerably the magnetic dispersion field which would otherwise be present in the space adjacent to the line itself if the system of auxiliary conductors were not present. As presented in the drawing in figures 1 and 2, the presence of the loop created by the auxiliary conductors allows the flowing of a current Ii which, in the shaded zone, tends to cancel the effects of the load current Ic, reducing the magnetic field in the ratio (Ic - Ii)/Ic. Application of the described system can be advantageous when it is necessary to reduce the inconveniences caused by the presence, in proximity to long distance lines, of magnetic fields of considerable magnitude which cannot be eliminated by other systems.
