Stressing elements (52) are provided in the reinforcement system which have a plastic sheathing (56) with anticorrosion grease, and with anchoring heads (4) embedded in the concrete of the structure and in which a prestressed stressing element can be anchored in each case by means of a wedge arrangement (62), the plastic sheathing (56) of the stressing elements in each case being discontinued in the region of their anchoring in the anchoring heads, and the length of the unsheathed region (58) and a connecting region of the plastic sheathing each being covered against the concrete (2) by a covering sleeve (10) connected to the anchoring head and embedded in the concrete of the structure, and the first intermediate space (34) between the stressing element (52) on the one hand and the anchoring head (4) and the covering sleeve (10) on the other hand being subsequently filled with anticorrosion grease. Jacket tubes (14) are embedded in the concrete of the structure, into which the respective stressing element (52) can be inserted with clearance (64) through the openings (32) of the anchoring heads (4) and through the covering sleeves (10), it being possible for the second intermediate space (76), formed by the clearance (64), between the stressing element (52) and the jacket tube (14) to be filled with injected mortar and the covering sleeves (10) are designed as sliding guides (in 48) for the plastic sheathing (56) of the ends to be received of the stressing elements (52), and, with a resilient seal between the covering sleeve (10) and the plastic sheathing (56) of the stressing element (52), as partition elements (70; 70a, 70b) between the first and the second intermediate space (74, 76), and are connected to the respective jacket tube (14).
