17ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA photopyrotechnical detonating device and aphotopyrotechnical chain using this device are disclosed. Apyrotechnical charge, which can be actuated by a laserbeam, is placed in a solid body. The beam is conveyed by anoptical fiber which penetrates a connector mounted on thebody. The beam, which is divergent when it leaves thefiber, is made parallel by a first lens. A second lens,mounted on the body, makes the beam converge and works witha transparent barrier to focus the beam on a given point.Tight-sealing means are provided between the transparentbarrier and the body of the device, thus ensuring thecontainment of the charge.
