(10)ABSTRACTAn ultrastretchable polymer material is prepared startingfrom polyolefine particles with a low entanglement density and aweight average molecular weight (Mw) higher than 400,000, the par-ticles being densified to a coherent material together with a processauxiliary material at an elevated temperature, but below the meltingpoint of the pure polyolefine.From this ultrastretchable material, objects with a high ten-sile strength and a high modulus can be produced by stretching it, forinstance, at room temperature which is at most 70?C below the temperatureat which the polyolefine melts under prevailing conditions, ifdesired after removal of the process auxiliary agent presents in it.
