BEAMFORMING/NULL-STEERING ADAPTIVE ARRAYABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA beamforming adaptive control loop issimultaneously employed in combination with anull-steering adaptive control loop to enhance thesignal/interference ratio resulting in an increase inthe message quality. The loops may employ temporalprocessing in which case on-epoch sample/hold filtersand off-epoch sample/hold filters form separate loopswhich enhance the desired signal and cancel theundesired signal, respectively. The correlated outputfrom the beamforming loop is added to the correlatedoutput of the null-steering loop and mixed with theincoming signal.-1-
