ABSTRACTDevice for taking a sample of subcutaneous tissuecells from a body, comprising a disposable injection syringewith a cylinder, a plunger slidably arranged in the cylinderand connected to an actuating shaft protruding outside thecylinder at one end, and a coupling element situated at theopposite end of the cylinder for the coupling thereto of aninjection needle, and further comprising pulling means forthe exerting of a force on the plunger in the direction awayfrom the coupling element. The pulling means comprise on oneside energy transmitting biasing means coupled to the cylinderwhich exert a tensile force on the plunger which after amovement of the plunger in the order of magnitude of 1 cmfrom an outermost position in contact with end of the cylinderbearing the coupling element lies in the order of magnitudeof 10 Newton times the diameter of the cylinder in cm2.
