Abstract of the DisclosureA variable speed pressure energy translating deviceincluding a plurality of axially extending pistons and associatedcylinders and a yoke engaged by the pistons and pivoted on atransverse axis for varying the displacement thereof, and ahousing having spaced saddle bearing seats. The yoke has spacedcomplementary saddle bearing engaging portions and an arcuatebearing is seated in each of said seats. Each bearing comprisesan arcuate body of polymeric material and an arcuate reinforcingmember embedded in the body and having a plurality of perforationsthroughout which are fixed in the reinforcing member with thepolymeric material extending through said perforations.
