GRAFT- AND CORE-SHELL-COPOLYMERS WITH AN IMPROVED PHASE BOND BETWEEN GRAFT BASE AND GRAFTED POLYMER PHASE

Graft- and core-shell-copolymers with an improved phase bond between the graft base and the grafted polymer phase are disclosed, as well as the peroxide group-containing copolymers upon which they are based and a process for producing said polymers. The graft- and core-shell copolymers are made from a peroxide group-containing polymer phase which contains an olefinically bi-unsaturated peroxide compound having the formula H2C = CH-O-CO-R1-CO-O-O-CO-R1-CO-O-CH = CH¿2? in which R?1¿ stands for a chemical bond, for a linear or branched alkyl chain with 1 to 10 C atoms, for a cycloalkyl group with 3 to 10 C atoms or for an aromatic compound with 6 to 14 C atoms.
