Method of reconstructing three-dimensional images of an object (3) in which the reconstruction is obtained by calculating the sums of projections on planes extracted from radiation with conical attenuation passing through the object or of a transmission originating from the object along a conical collimation. The two-dimensional detector array (4) used for this purpose is at any inclination ( zeta ) with respect to the axis of rotation defining the reference frame in which the image is reconstructed, following a deliberate choice. Formulae are given which make it possible to obtain a low-distortion reconstruction after having measured the parameters of displacement of the array and of the conical radiation beam. The positional errors which result from constructional defects are also taken into account in the calculations, after having been measured. A parameter-measuring methodology and the associated calculation method are described. IMAGE
