Herein disclosed is a semiconductro-coupled super­conducting device which comprises a first semiconductor layer of one conductivity type, a second semiconductor layer of the other conductivity type formed on the first semiconductor layer, and first and second superconductor electrodes formed in contact with the surface of the second semiconductor layer.
