The present invention relates to a device for discharging into the atmosphere a jet of fluid (11) possibly released by an overpressure valve (3) provided in a pressurised hot fluid circuit of an aircraft. According to the invention the overpressure valve (3) is arranged near to the wall (1) of the nacelle in such a way that the possible jet of fluid (11) released by the said valve (3) is directed towards the said wall (1), and in the said wall (1), at the impact site of the jet, an orifice (12) is provided, closed off by a consumable stopper (13) intended to melt, at least partially, under the action of the heat given off by the jet (11), thus permitting discharge of the jet (11) through at least a part of the said orifice (12). …IMAGE…
