摘要
To remove pollutants from the fumes produced in a boiler (1), the fumes, which are diverted off from a section of a chimney (13), are passed from the bottom upwards through a heat exchanger (3), in its entirety, to recover the latent heat of the water in the fumes. At the head of the exchanger (31) water is sprayed, which is drawn from a reserve capacity (50), and to which a soda solution (52) has been added to neutralise the sulphur oxides and part of the CO2. An effluent consisting of sprayed water laden with sulphite, sulphate and carbonates, condensates, and of the soot knocked down is collected in the tank (33) at the bottom of the exchanger (3). The effluent is taken from the bottom tank (33) and, after addition of a dose of flocculant (45) is conveyed to a separator (4) where the sludge settles at the bottom (41), while the clear effluent returns to the reserve capacity (50). An overflow (55) removes the excess effluent from the condensates. IMAGE
