According to a chromatographic method operated continuously against the current, the relative movement between the adsorbent composed of a solid phase and a liquid mobile phase in successive chromatography columns, is generated by the successive opening and brought of liquid outlets along the chromatography columns. Adsorbent used chiral polymers or chiral materials on an inorganic substrate. Thus manages to effect separation of a mixture of enantiomers by chromatography continuously against the current. The adsorbents in the form of crosslinked bead polymers composed of optically active amides acryl, methacryl and alpha-fluoracryle proved to be particularly useful.
