A method and apparatus is provided for forming a stone-paved floor (A). A flexible frame structure (10) is formed from a plurality of connector bars (20) linked to one another through pivotable joints (23) at the ends thereof. Connector bars (20) are coupled in a crossed configuration at center portions thereof to form a plurality of enclosures (11) into which paving stones (30) are fitted.
