IMPROVEMENTS IN SYSTEMS FOR INFORMING USERS ABOUT WAITING TIMES FOR BUSES AT NETWORK BUS STOPS

This is a device for informing users of a bus network on bus waiting times at stops of the network, comprising means (3-6) for generating and transmitting electrical signals representative of the distance (d) between each bus (1) and the judgment "next" (2) and means (7) assigned to each stop and arranged to receive said signals, selecting those of these signals, which concern that judgment and to show that judgment of data on wait "next" time bus. This device further comprises means for generating electrical signals representative of two past real average speeds bus (1), extending over two different time periods just prior to the time development of the signals and means for evaluating these average speeds for the purpose of determining the waiting time to show.
