The multi processor improves the availability of the service channel and maximizes the service quality of the synchronous transport system. The processor comprises the process control unit (11) outputting the control information (CPC #1 or CPC #7); the circuit processor (12) which handles the DS1 signal using the control information (CPC #1 or CPC #7); and the module process tool (13) which performs the unit module process function using the control information (MPC #1, MPC #2) from the process control tool (11).
