The circuit for generating signal having a constant gain without adjusting comprises a clamping circuit for clamping input signal to a constant potential; a peak detector for detecting the peak voltage of the clamped signal; a reciprocal number converter for converting the peak voltage to a voltage of a reciprocal number; a first multiplier for multiplying the converted peak voltage by a reference voltage; a second multiplier for multiplying the output of the first multiplier by the input signal; and a constant voltage maintainer for maintaining the reference voltage supplied to the first multiplier at a constant voltage. The circuit thus generates signal waveform having a desired gain irrespective of a variation in the input signal.
