Top shelf is fastened at distance of top point of the cathode of 1/10-2/3 its height. Distance between the shelves along the vertical is equal to 1/25-1/10 height of cathode. Shelves overlap one another for 1/20-1/10 their lengths. Distance between cathode plates is equal to 0.8-1.5 interelectrode distance. Shelves are made of steel.
