FIELD: protection of river intake structures. SUBSTANCE: installed above bottom of intake structure along circulating sill on horizontal axis in wall. Shape of channel between sill and wall is changed by varying angle of turning of wall relative to vertical to change intensity of roll screw motion in front of sill that makes it possible depending on river discharge to direct deposits and trash into scour outlet of intake structure dam.
