METHOD FOR HIRSCHSPRUNG'S DISEASE DIAGNOSIS

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: elastic rubber balloon is injected into rectum. Said balloon is blown up by air to 50-60 mm Hg. Simultaneously electrogastrography is carried out from the surface of body. The process takes place before and after balloon injection. If there are no changes on electrogastrography or if its amplitude increases not less than by 5 % of its origin value then Hirschsprung's disease takes place. EFFECT: excludes traumatism, simplifies the method, increases its accuracy, decreases examination time.
