FIELD: medical virology. SUBSTANCE: vaccine strain B/14/28, P is recombinant, received by means of crossbreeding of epidemic virus B/USSR/3/87 with cold-adapted strain B/Leningrad/14/17/55 as donor of attenuation, which is innocent for grown-ups and children of 3-14 years old. Strain B/14/28, P GCV 2276 is actively reproduced (7,5 lg EID50/0,2ml in developing gallinaceous embryos at optimal temperature 32C and at incubation time 72 hours). Recombinant has inherited from actual epidemic virus two genes, coding superficial proteins (haemagglutinin and neuramidinase), and six genes, coding nonglycosilated proteins from donor of attenuation. Strain B/14/28, P is non-reactogenic at intranosal introduction to children and cause seroconversions in 77,1% of inoculated children with initial antibody titers 1: 10. EFFECT: possibility to receive recombinant vaccine strains from newly appeared epidemic viruses.
