Reaction conditions: in the medium of CH3COOH and glacial CH3COOH in the presence of Cu(OCOCH3)2·H2O at the molar ratio salicylic aldehyde : Cu(OCOCH3)2·H2O:NaNO2:CH3COOH = 1:(0.5-0.6):(2-2.5):(4-5), at 10-15 C following by oxidation of intermediate cupric complex of 3-nitrosalicylic aldehyde. Product is used in air-cosmic objects. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
