FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: mineral is mined in stopes simultaneously with extraction of fertile soil over its entire length. Width of stopes is selected in compliance with parameters of employed mining equipment. First, fertile layer is removed from first and second stopes, and soil inderlying layer from first stope, and transported and dumped in heaps beyond the open pit boundaries and after completion of operation, it is transported and distributed on next to the last and last stopes. Then, next stopes are worked successively. After removal of soil layer from each subsequent stope, the soil underlying layer from those stopes is transferred to each completed adjacent stope, and after transfer, soil underlying layer is levelled and coated with soil layer delivered from each second preceding stope.
