FIELD: excavating and loading machines. SUBSTANCE: mechanism for locking gripping device is made in form of panel secured to machine. Panel consists of vertical post and horizontal side rigidly connected to each other. Vertical post has holes to receive pins. Pins have on their one ends rigidly connected levers and are chamfered in their middle part. Gripping device consists of supporting frame which includes vertical sides with grips and horizontal part. Grips are made with jaws. Projection of jaws on plane parallel to vertical side is trapezium and part of circle connected to each other by small base of trapezium. Pins are made so that they enter jaws only with certain orientation of their chamfers relative to jaw. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
