FIELD: protective coatings. SUBSTANCE: slip has, wt.-%: silicate frit 40-60; refractory clay 9-15; polyvinylbutyral 0.07-0.5; water 8.78-17.88; synthetic corundum 16.9-28.0; one of quaternary ammonium salt of perfluorinated acid derivatives 0.02-0.15. Material loss due losing of magnetic properties at the coating remove is 4%. Protective-technological coating is prepared by application of auxiliary layer and basic slip layer on the basis of silicate frit. Auxiliary layer is formed with thickness 0.5-3.0 mm from plastic mass containing, wt.-%: 55.5-67.5 synthetic corundum involving that with grain size 160-180 mcm and that with grain size less than 160 mcm at the ratio 1:(0.5-1.5), 13.5-19.5 refractory clay and 19-25 water. The same layer is formed after slip application on the basis of silicate frit. EFFECT: improved method of slip preparing. 4 tbl
