CHARGE FOR PYRITE CONCENTRATE SMELTING

FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: charge for smelting of pyrite concentrates has fluxing additions - alumina-containing material or its mixture with limestone at their mass ratio 3.0 (not less) at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: alumina-containing material or its mixture with limestone 30-45; pyrite concentrate 55-70. Alumina-containing material consists of substandard (by Al₂O₃) raw of the following composition, %: CaO 4-20; SiO₂ 3.5-15; Fe₂O₃ 15-20; MgO 0.5-2.0; TiO₂ 0.8-2.0; H₂O 5-10, and Al₂O₃ - the rest. Slags forming in the process of charge smelting can be used for effective utilization with extraction of iron and nonmetalliferous components to the end products. Charge is used for complex reprocessing of polymetallic raw, in part, pyrite concentrates. EFFECT: enhanced quality of charge. 2 cl, 1 tbl
