Single sheet handling appts. for high-speed printer, esp. laser printer - controls transport of individual sheets w.r.t. bar=code and compiles stacks on table

Sheets (13) delivered from a printer are collected in a sub- stack in a collection station (23) and then transported in accordance with a bar-code on the individual sheets. The sub- stacks are centred, bound and several sub-stacks are compiled into finished documents on a lowerable table (53). The sheet handling is controlled by a computer controller (15). Sheets are transported by upper and lower conveyor belts with transport cams. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for processing bank statements etc. Allows handling and compiling of sheets carrying different information.
