Prodn. of a pipe tubing having a celanese by stamping is claimed, in which the tubing is formed from a foil strip, running from a roll of foil on a tubular appts., moulded and the overlapping edges of the foil are connected. Stamping occurs before the foil strip is moulded. The foil strip (12) is pref. stopped for stamping. Stamping is pref. carried out in the stamping appts. (14) using a stamping head (16). Stopping of the foil strip is controlled by a stamp (47) onto the strip (12) using a sensor (26). USE - Used as packing tubing.
