On the outer side (8) of one of the arms (3) of the clamp (2) is a guide groove (9). The heads (10) of two clamp bolts (11) can slide in this groove. One of the bolts protrudes into a through hole of a holding clamp (14) which runs parallel to the groove. This holding clamp is in tension through the bolts and an intermediate position of a railing post or a railing strut. The through holes may be long bores (15). The guide groove is cut as a U-shaped profile with inwardly directed arms and is welded transversely onto an arm of the clamp (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be used for protection against visibility, wind or snow on bridges where there is normally no possibility of attaching posts.
