The force generating element (3) is fixed to one of the two parts (1,2) and is force or form lockably attachable to the other part. It is attached to the parts by a film hinge (5) and is formed of a press section (7) and a spring section (8). The press section is attached to a cap (2,20) by the first film hinge and to the spring section by a second film hinge (6) and the spring section is attached to the under part (1,10). The element (3) is ring shaped to accommodate the spout (14) on the under part. The spring section lies in a flat plane above the main hinge and between the cap and under part, while the first film hinge lies between the press section and the cap, under the main hinge. USE/ADVANTAGE - For plastics closures. Allows for a new construction shape.
