PURPOSE:To transfer data at a high speed by dividing read data selecting and distributing circuits for a vector register into a data shifting circuit in a processor and a data shifting circuit between processors and providing data transfer paths. CONSTITUTION:A processor 1 consists of selecting circuits 11 and 13 which select outputs of vector registers 10-1-10-4 and output vector data, a distributing circuit 14 which distributes the selected data to vector registers, and a distributing circuit 12 which distributes the data distributed by a distributing circuit 3 to those vector registers. A processor 2 also has the same constitution as the processor 1. Thus data stored in both processors are outputted to the distributing circuits 14 and 24 from the selecting circuits 13 and 23 via paths 15 and 25 and distributed to designated receivers respectively. At the same time, the data selected by the selecting circuits 11 and 21 are outputted to the circuit 3 and then distributed to the distributing circuits 12 and 22. Thus data are transferred between both processors 1 and 2.
