Door leaf having a pair of rosettes or short plate which may optionally be provided in the door-handle and lock region, these being fastened by at least two screws, and the door leaf being designed for a preparatory configuration for the optional use of both types of fitting, such that the pairs of bores for receiving the fastening screws in the door-handle and in the lock region being arranged such that they are offset upwards and/or downwards in each case from the diagonals, of the rosette fittings, which run perpendicularly with respect to the connection line between the centres of the regions for door handle and lock and such that they are reduced in terms of their spacing in such a manner that they are located in their entirety beneath the covering surface of the short plate.
